Thanksgiving Message from Mrs. Clarke

Dear Saint Christopher Families and Friends,

Thanksgiving gives us all a chance to stop, reflect, and think about what is truly important, especially the value of the people God has placed in our lives. It is a time to give thanks for the gift of family, friends, and the cherished moments that remain etched in our hearts—riches far greater than anything the world can offer.

As I reflect on our school community, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the many blessings God has bestowed upon us. I am especially thankful for Father David, who continues to inspire our students, faculty, and staff with his unwavering love for the Holy Spirit. His presence reminds us of the importance of deepening our faith and our love for the Eucharist. Thanks be to God for placing him in our lives!

I am equally grateful for our incredible teachers and staff, whose dedication and enthusiasm create an environment where our students can thrive academically and spiritually. Their tireless commitment and willingness to go the extra mile truly make our school the vibrant and faith-filled community it is today.

Thanksgiving is not just a national celebration; it is deeply rooted in our identity as Catholics. The very word “Eucharist” means Thanksgiving, and there is no better way to express our gratitude than by gathering as a faith community to celebrate Mass. I invite you to join us at St. Christopher on Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. to give thanks and receive our Lord in the Eucharist.

Whether you are planning a grand feast or a quiet meal, remember that it is not the food but the company that matters most. Thanksgiving is a reminder to pause amidst our busy lives, acknowledge our many blessings, and say “thank you” to our family, our friends, and, above all, to our loving God.

Please continue to pray for our school, our staff, Father David, and our students and families as we strive to provide an education rooted in faith, love, and service to others. As I gather with my own loved ones, know that you and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers, along with those who are less fortunate.

Wishing you a blessed and joyful Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and the peace of Christ.

With love and prayers,

Cindy
