NEW! Free Dress on Friday - All students and staff will have a FREE DRESS this Friday, May 22, courtesy of Principal of the Day Elijah Skantze! Principal Skantze enjoyed a great day of leading the school, including a special lunch in the principal’s office and pulling the fire alarm! Your child can be principal of the day, too….it will be a Live Auction Item at next year’s 23rd Annual Auction!

Parking - Please remember to observe all parking rules in the neighborhood. In general, parking is only allowed on one side of the street. Please check street signs carefully!
Chairs and Blankets - Don’t forget that the BBQ is BYOC/B…Bring Your Own Chair/Blanket! We’ll be spread out on the lawn behind the upper campus building!
Dessert Table Donations - While the school and Celebrations provide hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, watermelon, drinks, and more, we are looking for contributions to our famous dessert table! Please see the SignUp Genius HERE! (Note: You can drop your dessert off at either campus during the school day or simply bring it with you to the BBQ! Please, no nuts in any dessert!)

NEW! Track and Field Meet - Wildcat fans are encouraged to come on out and support our Track and Field team this Thursday, May 21 in Milford at 4:00 PM. All those who attend receive a Free Dress pass for Thursday, May 28th!
Nashua Bus Transportation Survey - To be eligible for bus transportation, students must live in the City of Nashua and must be in grades kindergarten thru 8. Students at the lower campus must live at least a mile or more from the school. Upper campus students must live at least two miles or more from the school. If you anticipate that your child will be needing bus transportation in Nashua at any time in the next year, please complete the confirmation form HERE by Friday, June 5.
Upper Campus Uniform Changes for the Fall - We will have several changes to our uniform policies at the upper campus this fall:
- Polo shirts may be worn year-round.
- Oxford shirts are only required for Formal Dress Days (Mass Days, Special Event Days, etc.). Students will be told prior by the school when a Formal Dress Day is scheduled.
- Skorts will only be allowed from the first day of school through October 31 and April 1 through the end of school. Khaki pants only are to be worn from November 1 through March 31.
- Belts must be worn with khaki pants or khaki shorts and an oxford shirt.
NOTE: There are no changes to the lower campus uniform for the fall.

No After Care - The final BUSY weeks of school include several days when the After Care program on both campuses is CANCELED. Please make note of these days and be sure that you have made arrangements for your child after school. These dates include:

Summerbook Workbooks – Worried about the student “summer slide”? Help your student keep his or her school skills sharp with a Summerbook Company 10-week summer review workbook for students entering Kindergarten and up! Books may be ordered individually online HERE. Saint Chris strongly recommends that students complete summer work in addition to summer reading assignments!
Upper Campus Math Summer Solutions Book - All upper campus students (rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade) will receive a Summer Solutions math workbook before they leave for the summer, along with instructions for completing required summer math work. Each student’s workbook will be matched to his or her anticipated math class for the fall. The cost of the book will be billed through FACTS Incidental Billing.

Birthday Books - Over 50 new books were donated to the library this year! There is still time. If you would like to purchase a birthday book for your student this year, please send Mrs. Noon an email or a note by May 18th to allow time for the book to be delivered and processed. If you have more than one student, feel free to get their birthday books at the same time! For more information on the birthday book program find it HERE. Thank you for your generosity!

Please have your student check both new and old backpacks, cars, home bookshelves, desks, cubbies, lockers, etc. Books have a way of hiding in plain sight!
iReady Testing - Our final iReady testing window will take place through June 5. Please encourage your student to do his or her best!
NEXT WEEK! Hot Lunch Ends - Don’t forget….Hot Lunch service ends NEXT Thursday, May 28 on the lower campus and Friday, May 29 on the upper campus! All students must bring a lunch from home through the end of school. There will be no “Forgotten Lunches” available at the lower campus. If a student does not bring a lunch, a parent will be called.

Volunteers: There are volunteer opportunities in the morning for Pre-K and K parents and afternoon for 1st through 5th grade parents. NEXT WEEK! Expanded Trivia Night! Mrs. Lowry and Ms. Nott will hold their final Trivia Night of the school year on Friday, May 29 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the church hall! Lower Campus Cross Country - Lower Campus Cross Country Registration for fall 2026 is now open! Cross country is open to all students entering 2nd through 5th grade next school year. NEW! Chess Club Tournament Winner - Congratulations to Eddie D. for winning the Lower Campus Chess Tournament! Eddie defeated Luke N. in the quarterfinals with a ladder mate tactic. He then followed that up with an upset win against Cecilia S. in the semi-finals after capturing her queen early in the match. In the finals, Eddie defeated his sister Jacqueline to win the championship. Thank you to all the players for a fun Chess and Checkers club.
NEW! Upper Campus Summer Soccer Skills and Drills – Join our boys and girls soccer coaches, Coach Spadaccini and Coach Daugherty, for skills and drills this summer. Any student entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade this fall is invited to the upper campus gym on the following dates.

2026 Summer Basketball Camp – Join our Tri-County championship team players, along with Saint Chris alumni, for some basketball fun this summer! Sign up for one or both weeks to work on basketball skills and drills along with a team tournament.

UC Girls Summer Basketball Workouts - This summer, the upper campus girls basketball program will have skills sessions on Monday nights from 5:00-7:00 pm. They will begin on June 29 and continue each Monday night for 8 sessions throughout the summer, concluding on August 24 The cost will be $150 for the entire summer or $25 for each individual session. Any Upper Campus girls and incoming sixth graders interested in playing next year are invited. Please contact Head Coach Scott Purcell at [email protected] with any questions.
End of Year Dates - The list of dates below outlines the final days of school before summer vacation…please mark your calendar accordingly! Please note: Our end-of-school calendar is different from the Nashua schools and other surrounding communities. We follow all state education requirements for cumulative school hours over the course of the year. While the Saint Chris calendar allows for two snow days per school year, the use of Google Classroom days on other weather-related closure days allows us to finish the year without adding any additional days.

- PreK, Kindergarten and 1st grade Playground Days - Who wants to play? We will hold special Playground Days for PreK, Kdg, and 1st grade students in August to help students and parents get to know each other before the start of school! PreK students are invited to the playground on Monday, August 3 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Kindergarten students are invited to play on Monday, August 10 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. And 1st grade students will enjoy the playground on Monday, August 17 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. If we need to cancel for rain, we will reschedule later in the same week. Come on down! This is a great time for the kids...and parents....to make important connections with friends before the school year begins!

- First day of school for 6th grade students ONLY. This will be a half day for 6th grade students. More details will be sent to 6th grade parents later in the summer.
