Saint Christopher Academy is currently accepting applications for anticipated faculty openings on both campuses. Teachers plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities, observe and evaluate student performance in accordance with school-wide standards and objectives, and communicate effectively with parents and administration. Qualified candidates must be able to build relationships with students and create a positive classroom culture where all students are supported to meet academic, character, and behavior expectations.

 

Preferred applicants should be practicing Catholics, hold an appropriate New Hampshire teaching certification (or be eligible for certification), and be ready to embrace our school mission of developing students who are confident, independent, lifelong learners, who lead by example, and who live their lives with integrity and concern for others. Applicants must embrace the mission of the school and provide students the opportunity to grow in their faith while instilling a love for learning.


All individuals who work with students will be required to complete Safe Haven Online Training as well as a criminal background check. FIRST GRADE TEACHER  

 

Saint Christopher Academy, a growing Catholic school, is seeking full-time first grade teachers for the 2024-2025 school year.  We are looking for an experienced teaching professional who is talented, creative, hard-working, and a team player; demonstrating a thorough understanding of the curriculum, promoting student self-discipline, setting high standards for students while maintaining a pleasant learning environment.  Experience with the Daily 5 would be helpful. Applicants are to be practicing Catholics embracing the mission of the school and providing students the opportunity to grow in their faith while instilling a love for learning.

Middle School Science

 

Saint Christopher Academy is seeking a dynamic 8th grade science teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Must perform the delivery of specified course content, use effective strategies for differentiation, interact positively, professionally, show respect with students and parents, expect students to learn and not fail, actively engage students in lessons that are planned around grade level expectations and enhance critical thinking skills. Teacher will implement instructional strategies that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. The effective teacher inspires and empowers students in their own learning and collaborates with their peers regularly to align curriculum and enhance the instructional environment towards gains in student performance goals. Professional obligations of teachers are met through continuous pursuit of new understanding of teaching and learning, reflection on their own practices and beliefs and through efficient work habits for planning lessons, meeting deadlines and honoring schedules. Applicants should be practicing Catholics embracing the mission of the school and providing students the opportunity to grow in their faith while instilling a love for learning.

All applicants must be NH certified teachers or eligible for certification by the NH Department of Education. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Background Check and an online course entitled “Safe Haven” before beginning employment.
