April 1, 2026

THIS WEEK!! Holy Week and Easter No School Days - Please remember that tomorrow, Holy Thursday, April 2nd, will be an Early Release Day, followed by no school on Good Friday, April 3rd, and Easter Monday, April 6. School will resume on Tuesday, April 7. Families are also invited to attend any of St. Christopher Parish’s Holy Week and Easter observances. See the schedule at the bottom of this News.

NEW! Alice in Wonderland Congratulations and Thank You - Congratulations to the cast and crew of last weekend’s Alice in Wonderland production! What a fabulous show…nothing but rave reviews from the audience of both performances! Thank you too, to everyone who came out to see the show and to all the parent and alumni volunteers who helped make it a great success. And, of course, special thanks to Mr. Quigley for leading the production in every way!

NEW! Early Release Day and April Vacation - Our April vacation gets an early start with an Early Release Day on April 24! As always, the upper campus will be released at 11:30 while the lower campus will be released at noon. Prek and Kdg are released at 11:40 and 11:45 respectively.

April vacation will then run until May 3rd. We’ll see everyone back on May 4th!

TODAY! Tuition Deposit Date - As noted in the 2026-2027 re-enrollment/registration packet, a $250 tuition deposit per student will be automatically withdrawn from a family’s FACTS Tuition Management account TODAY, April 1st using the payment method selected during registration. This tuition deposit will be applied toward the family's tuition balance. Questions about the tuition deposit should be directed to Shauna Hein at [email protected].

UPDATED! FACTS Fees - The FACTS payment plan “Enrollment Fee” of $250 was withdrawn yesterday from parent accounts. This FACTS fee is for the use of the FACTS payment system. Those parents who chose one payment or two semiannual payments were charged $25 and those who chose 10 monthly payments were charged $55. We apologize for the confusion caused by the similar fee name…we have been told that this is a standard name for this fee and cannot be changed.

NEW! Open Faculty Positions - We are hiring for the 2026-2027 school year! We are currently in need of:

  • 2nd Grade teacher (for third 2nd grade classroom)
  • 4th Grade/Science teacher
  • Substitutes

More information about each position can be found HERE. Please pass this on!

NEW! Lower Campus Poetry Slam - Friday morning, April 24, all lower campus students will gather in the church hall for our annual Poetry Slam under the direction of Mrs. Ternan. Please sign in at the front desk before proceeding to the hall.

DEADLINE TODAY!! Congratulations! Congratulations to Jack Young (5B) as he heads to the Elks Hoop Shoot National Finals! Jack began his journey in November, going on to win the local, district, and state competitions before taking first place in the Regional Finals, scoring an impressive 22 out of 25 free throws!  He will now represent New England Region 6 at the Elks Hoop Shoot National Finals on April 18th in Chicago at Wintrust Arena, home of the WNBA’s Chicago Sky. There, the top free throw shooters from 12 regions across the country will compete for the national title.

Help us cheer Jack on! Families are invited to send Jack a message of encouragement. When he arrives in Chicago, he will receive a keepsake book filled with all the "Best Swishes" to motivate and support him during the competition. You can submit a message HERE by April 1st for inclusion in the book!

For those who would like to watch the competition, it will be livestreamed on April 18th. Jack will compete in the boys’ 10–11 division. Here is the link: News

Thank you for cheering on our determined sharpshooter, Jack! Let’s send him to Chicago with lots of school spirit!

Enrollment Update - Enrollment for the 2026-2027 is going strong! Currently, we have a 97% retention rate for current students and 63 new students registered. Several grades have waitlists for the fall. Thank you to all of our current families for completing their re-enrollments and for spreading the good news about Saint Chris!

Front Door Security - To keep our students safe within our school buildings, parents are reminded that they should not allow other people into the building as they enter either campus. All visitors must ring the bell and speak with the receptionist before being buzzed into the building. Thank you for being an important part of our school security!

Water Only! Please remember that students may only have water while in classrooms at both the lower and upper campus. (The only exception is juice boxes/bags and milk for lunch at the lower campus. Upper campus students may have those items in the cafeteria during lunch time.) If a student brings in a drink from Dunkin Donuts/Starbucks/etc, he or she will be asked to dispose of it before going to class.

Education Fund Accounts (EFA) Applications Now Open - Applications for the Education Freedom Accounts (EFA) program for the 2026-2027 school year are now open. Education Freedom Accounts (EFA) are grants from the State of New Hampshire, administered by CSF, made available to families to spend on their children’s education, including tuition at the school of their choice, tutoring, classes, online learning programs, educational supplies, technology, and other educational expenses. For more information about the EFA program, please click HERE. Please note: all families who apply for Saint Christopher Academy Financial Aid must also apply for EFA funds.

Please Note: EFA applications require a report card for a full year and iReady testing results. Therefore it is imperative that parents download report cards as soon as they receive the report card email and save all iReady information. Links to quarterly progress reports and report cards are only valid for two weeks after the email has been sent to parents. Tickets are just $7 per person and everyone who purchases their ticket through the Saint Chris portal will sit together! Purchase your tickets by clicking HERE and using STCHRIS as the password. We look forward to a GREAT night at the ballpark together!

End of Year Dates - The list of dates below outlines the final days of school before summer vacation…please mark your calendar accordingly!
