Mrs. Clarke welcomes parents to the 2020 Virtual Parent Information Night and gives an overview of the current state of the school.

hi it's mrs. Clark Welcome to our first virtual parent information night and we're so happy you could join us even if it's virtually I want to start by talking about our newest atomy we've worked hard over the past year to merge two wonderful schools Nashua Catholic Regional junior high school and st. Christopher School while each school has many strengths individually were already appreciating the advantages having both schools together have brought to us for example at the upper campus we brought our 6th graders for sports and it's the excitement up there as is amazing kids trying out for soccer volleyball country and it's just very exciting that we can do that for a 6th graders at the middle school level and we're very excited to continue to expand these opportunities as we move forward we are now and we three of our unique Cove rdr2 used to be conservative in our precautions our goal is to keep kids healthy and in school as well as offering excellent remote option for our students we appreciate our parents decisions about their children's learning environment whether it is in school or at home and we know that it's going to be the best year ever we're grateful to our parents for your support and input as we navigate this ever-changing scenario we are especially happy to see all of our students in class and on the screen I've been walking through the classrooms and I see everybody up on the screen sometimes I get behind the camera so I can give everybody a big hello but it's just really nice to see them in uniform and participating with all of our students this year will be the process of learning from Xpress like the CDC in the New Hampshire Department of Health will that be evaluating our own policies and procedures in light of all of the information that they give us and making changes whenever necessary so please know that will continue form you about any changes that we make in a very timely manner one of the things that has always been our strength is getting to know our parents and that's through volunteerism this year it's been very difficult and it's been without all of our parents here so we really miss you very much is to get to know parents and just like this evening I hope to do more of this so will will will be scheduling more zoom meetings over the school so we can discuss important topics to come up and we'll also be looking for covid-19 opportunities for parents to get involved in our community so it may be at the lower campus maybe at the upper campus if you have any ideas please share them me but we're working hard to come up with something so that we can get our parents involved again so we will continue to communicate with you often and encourage you to reach out whenever you need it it doesn't matter no no question is too big or too small and just make sure to reach out plus when you can I'm especially grateful to our faculty for their willingness to come back and teach under these circumstances as I move from class to class and it's really fun to get to see everyone even though they all have their masks on I can tell when smiling under there I'm very impressed with our teachers and their ability to take on these extra responsibilities and they spent countless hours at home before school started training I'm getting to know the new tech allergies and preparing new ways to reach both the students in class and remote we're blessed with this amazing group of dedicated professionals and I can't thank them enough we again thank you for your patience as we continue to refine our remote our teachers have been very flexible and they're working very hard to provide a great education for your students I want to thank Kathy which and Scott Maxwell and willingness to help us with these Technologies please know that in every class weather in school a remote your child is safe and loved and supported as always I also want to thank Father David for his presence in our school for his undying support of the academy it's already begun blessing our classrooms and sharing is off of the holy spirit with a student and so we're certainly blessed to have him with us the email that you received contains links to the parent information night meetings with grade levels and subject areas. encourage you to log on and meet these fabulous teachers and hear about what's happening in their classrooms are looking forward to getting to know you and more about your students our school is successful because we work together toward a car and that is providing our students with excellence in education both academically and emotionally so thank you again for trusting us to educate and care for your children and we are blessed to have you with us so enjoy your evening
