Teachers at Saint Chris plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities, observe and evaluate student performance in accordance with school-wide standards and objectives, and communicate effectively with parents and administration. The creation of a positive classroom environment where all students are supported to meet academic, character, and behavior expectations is key to a successful Saint Chris classroom.
In particular, we are looking for experienced teaching professionals who are talented, creative, hard-working, and team players; demonstrating a thorough understanding of the curriculum, promoting student self-discipline, setting high standards for students while maintaining a pleasant learning environment.
Preferred applicants should be practicing Catholics, hold an appropriate New Hampshire teaching certification (or be eligible for certification through the state or the Diocese), and be ready to embrace our school mission of developing students who are confident, independent, lifelong learners, who lead by example, and who live their lives with integrity and concern for others. All individuals who work with students will be required to complete Safe Haven Online Training as well as a criminal background check. Current Openings:
4th Grade/Science: Full-time fourth grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position will mainly cover 4th and 5th grade science along with 4th grade reading, spelling and theology. Interest and experience in science curriculum is preferred.
Part-Time Elementary Gym Teacher (Tuesday and Friday): Part time gym teacher for our Lower Campus, grades PreK to 5. Sports knowledge and experience with children is important. Other responsibilities include coordinating our annual Field Day.
Full-time Middle School Computer Teacher - Full-time computer teacher with knowledge of both PC and Mac computers, as well as basic IT practices. This dual-role position combines classroom instruction in technology fundamentals with hands-on, first-level support for the school's technical infrastructure.
Boys Soccer Coach - Part-time soccer coach for the fall season. Knowledge of soccer and coaching techniques required. Position does receive a stipend.
