NEW! THANK YOU! Thank you to the many parents from both campuses who attended our Parent Information Nights last week! We love having the opportunity to share the state of the school with you and to welcome you into the classrooms! If you have any additional questions about the information that was shared, please feel free to reach out to any of the presenters!

NEW! Faith Outreach Committee Meeting - The Faith Outreach Committee will meet THIS Friday, September 18 at 9:00 AM in the lower campus library. The goal of the Faith Outreach Committee is to assist in creating a spiritually enriching environment for our students. Please join us!

NEW! iReady Testing - iReady testing begins today on both campuses and will run through October 8. Lower campus students will test in their homerooms, while upper campus students will test in their computer classes. Please be sure that your student is well-rested and has had breakfast every day so they can do their best!

NEW! Lower Campus School Store - We’re ready to get our lower campus school store up and running! The store sells a variety of school supply items like pencils/pens/erasers, along with school spirit items, rosaries, and more! To make this happen, we are in need of a few parent volunteers to help our little shoppers one morning a week from 7:20 AM to 7:45 AM. If you are interested, please email Marta at [email protected]. Thank you!

Lower Campus Drop-off Reminders: Thank you to all of our parents for their cooperation in following our directions for morning drop-off at the lower campus! We are very impressed with how quickly everyone has adapted and how smoothly things are going! A couple of quick reminders about a few special things:

NEW! Drop-Off Line - Cushing Ave is a busy, busy street in the morning! In order to keep everyone safe, we request that you do not pull out into the street traffic until the cars in front of you have cleared out of the way. Thank you!

Drop-Off “Extra Time” - If a lower campus student needs a little extra time to exit a car in the morning to finish breakfast, bring in a project, or just adjust to Monday morning (we can all relate!), please park in the upper parish parking lot next to the church. You may then walk your student to the top of the stairs and watch him or her walk down the side of the parking lot and into the school. This allows us to keep our lines moving in both the front and back!

Front Door  - Parents are asked to keep students in their cars for morning drop-off at the front of the school until the doors have opened and a staff member is present. Students should not be standing or sitting at the door by themselves waiting to be let in.

Absence/Tardy Reminders:

Calling/Emailing - Please remember that when you call or email that your child will be tardy or out sick, you must give a specific reason (sick, doctor’s appointment, high school visit, etc.). If a parent does not inform the school about the reason for an absence, it will automatically be marked as an unexcused absence.

Advance Work - As noted in our new attendance policy, teachers will not prepare homework in advance for students who have a “scheduled” upcoming absence (ie, vacation or other day out of school). Upper campus students are expected to follow the classwork in Google Classroom and complete homework within the teacher’s guidelines upon return to school. Lower campus students will receive work from their teacher when they return.

Grandparent Days - Grandparents are special! We are thrilled to be honoring them at two upcoming Grandparent events…one at each campus! The lower campus Grandparents Open House will take place on September 29, while the upper campus will take place on October 6. For more information and to RSVP, CLICK on the appropriate invitation below!
