March 18, 2026

THIS WEEK! Early Release - Our next early release will be THIS Friday, March 20 (the first day of spring!). Upper campus students are released at 11:30, and lower campus students are released at noon. There will be NO After Care on either campus that day and NO Rosary Club for either campus.

☘️ NEW! St. Patrick’s Day Treats Thank You ☘️ - Many, many thanks to our Parent Appreciation Group and all parents who donated to today’s faculty and staff St. Patrick’s Day treats! What a wonderful surprise!

NEW! Holy Week and Easter No School Days - Please remember that Holy Thursday, April 2nd, will be an Early Release Day, followed by no school on Good Friday, April 3rd, and Easter Monday, April 6. School will resume on Tuesday, April 7.

NEW! Saint Chris Financial Aid Deadline - If your family is interested in Saint Chris financial aid for the 2026-2027 school year, all applications are due by Friday, April 17 for priority consideration. Applications received AFTER April 17 will be considered for remaining available funds on a first come, first served basis. You can apply through your Family Portal. Click on Financial  in the left hand column, then Apply for Grant and Aid in the pop-up window. IMPORTANT: We cannot make ANY Saint Chris financial aid award without an application for the 2026-2027 school year.

NEW! FACTS Fees - We have been informed by FACTS that in addition to withdrawing the $250 tuition deposit, FACTS will also be withdrawing their payment plan “Enrollment Fee” around April 1st. This FACTS fee is for the use of the FACTS payment system. Those parents who chose one payment or two semiannual payments will be charged $25 and those who chose 10 monthly payments will be charged $55. We apologize for the confusion caused by the similar fee name…we have been told that this is a standard name for this fee and cannot be changed.

NEW! Report Card Links and iReady Reports - Parents are reminded that emailed links to quarterly progress reports and report cards are only valid for two weeks after the email has been sent to parents. Please proactively physically print (or print a pdf file to save electronically) all progress reports and report cards for your own records as soon as you receive the email. Parents are also asked to retain copies of their child’s iReady testing that are sent home three times per year. Thank you!

NEW! Education Fund Accounts (EFA) Applications Now Open - Applications for the Education Freedom Accounts (EFA) program for the 2026-2027 school year are now open. Education Freedom Accounts (EFA) are grants from the State of New Hampshire, administered by CSF, made available to families to spend on their children’s education, including tuition at the school of their choice, tutoring, classes, online learning programs, educational supplies, technology, and other educational expenses. For more information about the EFA program, please click HERE. Please note: all families who apply for Saint Christopher Academy Financial Aid must also apply for EFA funds.

Please Note: EFA applications require a report card for a full year and iReady testing results. Therefore it is imperative that parents download report cards as soon as they receive the report card email and save all iReady information (see note above).

NEW! Q3 Grades and Report Cards - Grades for Quarter 3 close Friday, March 27. Report cards will be emailed to parents on Thursday, April 2nd.

NEW! Spring Uniforms - Wednesday, April 1st marks the start of our Spring Uniform season!  Please note the following changes from the winter uniforms:

Lower Campus:

  • Boys may wear the navy blue twill uniform shorts. Socks must be navy or plain white (no sports socks with logos).

  • Both boys and girls may wear the navy blue uniform gym shorts on their gym day. Gym sweatpants do not need to be worn over the shorts.

Upper Campus:

  • Boys and Girls may wear the khaki twill uniform shorts.

  • Girls: Shorts can be no more than three inches above the knee. Socks must be navy or white knee socks.

  • Boys: Shorts cannot be longer than one inch below the knee. Socks (navy or black) or white socks only that show above the sneaker or shoe must be worn. Socks can have small logos like the NIKE swoosh, but otherwise cannot have logos, stripes, or blocks. Socks must be worn at all times.

  • Boys and Girls - Navy or red colored “golf/polo style” (long or short sleeve) shirt with Saint Christopher Academy logo may be worn.

  • Boys and Girls - Navy blue uniform gym shorts may be worn on gym days.

  • Boys and Girls on Mass Day - Students must wear their dress uniform on mass days. This includes the twill shirt for both boys and girls (with a tie for boys). Boys should wear their twill khaki uniform pants and girls may either wear their skorts or the twill khaki pants.

Please note: Spirit wear is not considered to be part of the school uniform. Therefore, students are welcome to wear these items on school or personal free dress days or on official Spirit Days.

NEW! Used Uniform Closets - Both the upper and lower campus used uniform closets are packed with a great selection of uniform pieces! Parents are welcome to check out the used uniform closets during the school day. Please check in with reception and receive a name tag before proceeding to the closet!

UPDATED! Lower Campus Spring Portraits - O’Connor Studio is returning to the lower campus on Wednesday, April 1 for Spring Portraits. This is for lower campus students only.  It is a one-time event, so there are no retakes for absent students. Only students who have paid for photos will go to the photographer to have a picture taken.

Paper order envelopes from O’Connor Studios will go home today.  If you are interested in having your student's spring portrait taken, you may place an order online or use the paper envelope. The paper envelope includes instructions for online ordering. Students placing an order using only the paper envelope (not online) should bring their completed paper envelope to school for picture day.

This is a Dress UP Day.  All lower campus students may dress up instead of wearing the uniform, regardless of whether they're getting a spring portrait!

 Silver Knights Game 2026

⚾️ Saint Chris Night at the Silver Knights! ⚾️ - Due to scheduling conflicts, we are unable to take our students to Education Day at the Silver Knights….but we’ve come up with the next best plan….Saint Chris Night at the Silver Knights! Families are invited to join us at Holman Stadium on Thursday, June 18 for a 6:03 PM game against the Westfield Starfires. Tickets are just $7 per person and everyone who purchases their ticket through the Saint Chris portal will sit together! Purchase your tickets by clicking HERE and using STCHRIS as the password. We look forward to a GREAT night at the ballpark together!

End of Year Dates - The snow may still be flying, but we are looking ahead to the last days of school! The list of dates below outlines the final days of school before summer vacation…please mark your calendar accordingly! Please note: Our end-of-school calendar is different from the Nashua schools and other surrounding communities. We follow all state education requirements for cumulative school hours over the course of the year. While the Saint Chris calendar allows for two snow days per school year, the use of Google Classroom days on other weather-related closure days allows us to finish the year without adding any additional days.

DEADLINE TO ORDER THIS WEEK! Spring Spirit Wear Store - Spring will be here before we know it….we promise! In preparation, we have opened our online Academy Spirit Wear store and have added some great items to our standard offerings! (Be sure to click “Load More” to see all the items!) The store is HERE. Ordering closes THIS Friday, March 20! Orders will be delivered here to school approximately two weeks after ordering has closed. Of special note: These items are spirit wear only for use outside of school and on specially designated spirit days. They should not be worn as part of the regular daily school uniform. Thank you for your cooperation with this!

DEADLINE SOON! Annual Appeal Update - Help us to reach our $80,000 goal before March 31st! We are sooooo close....just $3,000 shy of this important goal supporting many important aspects of our school, including academics, extracurriculars and enrichment, technology, facilities, teacher development and support, and financial aid. If you have not yet made an Annual Appeal donation, it’s not too late! You can donate online by clicking HERE. All donations made by March 31 will be acknowledged in our Honor Roll of Donors this summer. Thank you!

Lenten Open Fiber Studio -  All Knitters, Sewists, Weavers and other Fiber Artists! Open Fiber Studio is available to members of Saint Christopher Parish, Saint Christopher Academy staff and parents, and any Saint Christopher Academy student in grades 4-8. The cost is $10. All money raised during the Lenten season will be given to Marguerite's Place in Nashua or St.Gianna's in Hudson. We will meet every Friday in Lent from 3:15-4:45 PM. Because the first session was snowed out, Mrs. Fessenden has extended the sessions to include April 10. Bring your own project to work on, or materials will be available for weaving, embroidery, or handsewing. This is not an art class, but Mrs. Fessenden will be available for help. The Fine Arts Center is Handicap Accessible and has its own handicap accessible bathroom. Please sign up HERE. Email art teacher Rebecca Fessenden with any questions at [email protected].

Art Class Request - Mrs. Fessenden is looking for magazines of all kinds …sports, beauty, science, family, travel, national geographic, art and crafts, or kids magazines are all great! As always, they can be placed on the porch of the Fine Arts Center at the lower campus at any time. Thank you!

Golf Coach Needed - Our spring sports at the upper campus will begin Monday March 30th and we are still in need of a coed golf coach. For more information about the commitment of this paid coaching position, contact Mrs. Beauregard ([email protected]).

STARTING NEXT WEEK! Upper Campus - Registration is now open for spring sports at the upper campus. Available sports are softball for grades 6-8, baseball for grades 6-8, boys and girls golf for grades 6-8 and boys and girls track and field for grades 5-8.
