Updated! Long Term Sub Needed - We are looking for a long term sub for our open 4th grade position at the lower campus. The long term sub would cover from January 5th through the end of the school year on June 10, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the 2026-2027 school year. As a part of a fabulous team of teachers, the 4th grade teacher teaches reading, spelling, and theology to a 4th grade homeroom, as well as science to both 4th and 5th grade students. FACTS Credit Card Issue - We received the following note from FACTS Financial today and thought we would pass it along….

On Monday, October 20, 2025, FACTS experienced an issue with a payment processing partner that caused scheduled and real-time credit card payments to be declined between 10:31 am and 2:41 pm Central Time. The scheduled payments that were declined within this window were reattempted on Tuesday, October 21, but were declined again unexpectedly. FACTS remains engaged with our processing partner to identify and remediate this issue.
Impacts

  • Returned payment notices will be generated for all of the October 21 declined payments, notifying payers of the failed attempt.
  • The scheduled payment plan reattempts that were declined again unexpectedly on October 21 will automatically be reattempted on November 5 if an additional reattempt is available.
  • Any real-time credit card payments attempted during the October 20 impact window received an immediate decline message. If they have not already, payers may reattempt a real-time payment at any time.

We apologize for the inconvenience associated with this issue and any delay in processing these payments.

Lower Campus Front Drop-off Reminders - Please help us keep our students safe and our traffic pattern moving smoothly by following all protocols for the morning drop-off in front of the lower campus building! We have had several close calls, with cars and students narrowly being missed by oncoming traffic. Please note:

  • Drop off is on the school side of the street ONLY. Do not pull up to the other side of the street and escort your student/s across the street.  Local traffic is often not particularly aware that students are crossing the street and crossing students are easy to miss!
  • Pull up as far as possible towards the end of the school building when you drop off in order to make room for others behind you to also drop their students off.
  • Do NOT get out of your car in the drop off line for any reason. If your student needs additional time or your assistance in getting out of the car, please park in the upper parish parking lot by the church. You may exit your car there and walk your student down to the back entrance of the school.
  • Once your child has exited your car, please follow the car in front of you and pull away as soon as you are clear. We have a teacher stationed in the front of the school every day to be sure that students enter the school safely, so it is not necessary to watch children go up the walkway.
  • Please do not pull out around another car when your child has exited and please check oncoming traffic before you pull away from the school. Local street traffic has the right of way at all times.
