NEW! Thank You - Thank you to Summit Educational Group for the donation of SSAT prep books for our upper campus students. These books are being used to help prepare students for academic testing for both the SSAT and the high school placement tests. A special thank you to Jeff McClure for arranging this donation!

Thanks also go to National Carpet and Flooring in Tyngsboro, MA for their donation of carpet squares for our classrooms!

Finally, thank you to all of our PreK parents who joined us for last week’s Take Your Parent to Lunch! It was so good to meet everyone and enjoy a nice pizza lunch together!

NEW! Kindergarten Take Your Parent to Lunch - This week, our Kindergarten parents will be treated to lunch with their students! The KB parent lunch takes place from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM and KM parents will attend from 12:30 to 1:15 PM. Parents should enter through the front doors of the school and check in at the front desk. Masks are required. Both events start with a short student performance, so parents are encouraged to be on time!

NEW! Congratulations! Congratulations to the winners of our Tuition Raffle...the Clement Family! The winning ticket was pulled live on Facebook last Friday from the almost 200 tickets our families earned by selling 10 Calendar Raffle tickets!

Facilities Projects -

Gym Audio System - If you’ve ever attended one of our many events in the gym at the upper campus….from athletic events and drama productions to masses and graduations...you know that the gym’s aging audio system is less than adequate. We are working on replacing that system so that we can hear everything loud and clear from all parts of the gym! The cost of this project is $15,000.

Science Lab Upgrade - While this project is still at an early stage, we are investigating ideas for modernizing this important space at the upper campus.  This large classroom offers many possibilities for deepening our STEM curriculum with updated lab equipment and programming to further engage student interest in the sciences. Estimated cost for this project is still under development.

NEW!  THIS WEEK! Parent Alert System  As we do every year, we will be doing a test run of our Parent Alert system for both campuses THIS Friday, October 24 at 10:00 AM. We use Parent Alert for sending out mass communications, including text messages, robocalls and emails, to notify you of weather-related school closings, as well as any emergency information we might need to get to parents in a timely manner. To ensure you are able to receive our text alerts, please text the keyword “START” to 22383 from your mobile device. Any text alerts from our school will begin with “SCA Alert” and calls will show from “603-882-7442”.

On the 23rd, we will send out a test message to all parents using all forms of communication. Therefore, you should expect to receive several versions of this test message, both through your phone and email. If you do NOT receive the messages, please contact Marta at [email protected].

Note: Per Telephone Consumer Protection Act we have to provide all recipients the option to Opt Out of receiving our text alerts. Anytime we send out a text alert you will see “Stop to End”. If you reply “Stop” you will no longer receive ANY text alerts from Saint Chris.

NEW! Lower Campus Commuter Reminders -

Please do not block the teacher’s parking lot at the corner of Cushing Ave and Manchester St. during Before Care drop-off and After Care pick-up. Because Cushing Ave is a busy street, the teachers must be able to pull in and out of the parking lot quickly and easily without having to wait in the middle of the street. To avoid blocking the lot, please pull up past the walkway to the church hall before allowing your student to exit the car. Please also do not park in the Teacher’s lot at any time.

Also, please remember that there are NO U-turns allowed on Cushing Ave. Again, Cushing Ave is a busy street and U-turns are extremely dangerous. Please approach the school by turning onto Cushing Ave from Manchester St. so that you are on the school side of the street for drop-off. Thank you!

NEW! Upper Campus Commuter Reminders -- Please help us be good neighbors! We have received complaints that parents are using private driveways along Bartlett St.  to turn around and are also blocking driveways during drop-off and pick-up. We must allow our neighbors access to their driveways at all times. Thank you for your help with this!

Upper Campus Before Care - Please note that the upper campus Before Care program runs from 6:30 to 7:30 AM. Any student who arrives at school between those hours will be charged for Before Care at the rate of $3 per half hour. Students who arrive after 7:30 AM will not be charged. Thank you!

Wrestling Coach Needed - We are still looking for a coach for our upper campus (grades 6-8) wrestling program this winter! Please contact Athletic Director Ryan Farris at [email protected] as soon as possible!

Applications are now being accepted for new students for the 2022-2023 school year! Veteran families can complete a new student application through their Family Portal. New families should start the process HERE. Note: Reenrollment for all current students will take place starting on January 1, 2022.
