Thank You! Thank you to the Fleming family for the tasty treats for our staff and teachers! Yum!

UPDATED YET AGAIN! COVID Response Form -- By popular demand, we have reinstated our daily email reminders about the COVID Response Form. All parents on both campuses should be receiving this email around 3:15 AM. If you are not receiving it, please contact Marta at [email protected]. All parents on both campuses must complete the COVID Response Form each day BEFORE school begins. This form is your certification that your child is well and able to attend school for that day, as we are all counting on each other to stay safe and keep the school open!  If you have not completed the form by 9:00 AM, students will be briefly pulled from class so that the school nurse can take his or her temperature. We have also posted the link to the form on the front page of the Academy website and the lower and upper campus sites. When you land on the website, a white box will appear in the upper right corner. Clicking that will take you right to the log in for the online form!

NEW! FACTS Tuition Management Log-In and Financial Balances in Family Portal - As part of our phased move to the Renweb Student Information System on both campuses, we have now tied our Renweb Family Portals with FACTS Tuition Management. This means that you will now use your Family Portal to access your online FACTS tuition account to pay student tuition, “Incidental Fees” like Extended Care, field trip fees (after COVID!), book fees, etc. To view your financial balances, log into your Family Portal, select “Financial” in the blue column on the left side of the screen. Your tuition balance and Incidental Fee (Extended Care, book fees, etc.) will appear in the “Balance” box in the center of the screen. You can access your FACTS Tuition Management account by clicking “Financial Home” in the “Resources” box.

UPDATED!! Extended Care Billing  - Billing for October Extended Care has been fixed in the Family Portal. Extended Care balances are posted as “Incidental Expenses.” Click the “Make a Payment” box to pay the invoice online.

NEW! Thanksgiving Travel COVID Reminder - With our Thanksgiving break coming up next week, we wanted to remind everyone of our COVID travel policy! In order to keep our students and staff safe….and to keep our school open for in person learning...we require that all students and staff who travel outside of New England quarantine for 14 days upon their return to New Hampshire. It is not possible to “test out” of this requirement with a negative COVID test. However, students who are in quarantine should participate in the school day as a remote learner. Please contact Mrs. Clarke and your student’s homeroom teacher prior to your student’s quarantine to make arrangements for at home learning. Please note: those who travel inside New England do not need to quarantine and may return to school after vacation. This policy is in line with recommendations by the CDC and the NH Department of Health and Human Services. Should their recommendations change, we will reevaluate our policy. Please contact Mrs. Clarke at [email protected] or  either of our school nurses for more information: Gloria Sheehan (lower campus) at [email protected] or Corrie Zeman (upper campus) at [email protected].

NEW! Carpool Street Parking- Please remember to avoid blocking neighborhood driveways when in the carpool line! Thank you for helping us be good neighbors!

Winter Outerwear Reminder for Lower Campus Parents -- Despite the beautiful weather this week, winter will be here soon,, so it’s time to remind everyone about wearing appropriate outerwear for the colder months! Our lower campus students WILL be going out to recess as long as the temperature is above 20 degrees and it is not raining, so they should be wearing winter coats, hats, and gloves when the weather is cold. Boots should also be worn when it is cold and especially when it is snowy….please remember to have students bring their regular school shoes in their backpack too as they are not allowed to wear boots in school. We know that students often resist wearing winter clothes, but we are counting on parents to help us keep our kids warm and healthy!

NEXT WEEK! Thanksgiving Break -- Don’t forget our Thanksgiving break next week, from Wednesday, November 25  through Friday, November 27!

Walker and Outside Nashua Dismissal - Please note that all walkers who are crossing Manchester Street are now being crossed by the teacher on duty at the lower crosswalk at Hall Avenue. We have had several near accidents at the upper crosswalk and have decided that it is unsafe for our students to cross there. In addition, should parents need to cross Manchester St., we would highly suggest that they also do so at the lower crosswalk by Hall Ave.

NEW! SOCK DRIVE!! Help Jack Foster collect socks for needy veterans!  Being new socks to school and put them in the bins in the foyer (both upper and lower campus). The drive will run through Monday November 30!

Applications Open for New Students in 2021-2022 -  Registrations are now OPEN for NEW students for next year, from PreK 3 through grade 8. If you have a younger child who you would like to join us next year, please visit the front page of the school website at SaintChrisAcademy.org and click the Apply Now button to get started! Please also pass the word to any new families who would like to join our school community in 2021-2022!

Current Student Re-enrollment -- Re-enrollment for current students will run from January 1 through January 22. On January 1, the primary parent will receive an email with a link to each student’s re-enrollment packet for 2021-2022. The re-enrollment packet will also be available at that time through the Family Portal.  Because we have high demand and waiting lists for all of our grade levels, any student who has not been re-enrolled by January 22 will forfeit his or her seat for the following year. There will be a registration fee of $150 (down from $200 in 2020-2021) due as part of the online re-enrollment.

Note: Current 5th and 6th grade students will re-enroll  in January as described above even though they will be moving to the upper campus next year. Parents do not need to fill out an application for the upper campus.
