Thank you -- As is our custom, this week’s Wednesday News starts with a thank you! We’d like to extend a warm thank you to all those who donated supplies for the Mary, Gate of Heaven orphanage in Haiti! The supplies have been delivered to our contact person and should be on their way to Haiti soon!

Wednesday News -- The News is back! (Ok, today’s version is the Thursday News, but you get the idea!). In addition to our weekly Academy Updates detailing “big” happenings with the new Academy, we’ll be sending bi-weekly News until school starts with the nuts-and-bolts of things parents need to know to get their children ready for school. Once school begins, we will go back to our weekly News cycle. (Rest assured, if we need to get important news out before a scheduled News day, we’ll send it out pronto!)

COVID-19 Plan -- We have completed our plan for opening the Academy safely under the current COVID-19 conditions and are awaiting final approval from the Diocese. Please look for a separate email with the plan in the next day or two. Many thanks to our planning committee for their research, input, and guidance as we created this challenging document! While it was not an easy task, we feel confident that we have kept the safety of our students and staff at the forefront of our plans and look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Academy in person this fall!

Faculty/Staff Changes - Our sincere apologies for missing two additional upper campus staff who will be leaving us this fall. Tricia MacDonald, grade 7/8 English teacher, came to the upper campus last year after a long and well-loved tenure at Infant Jesus School. Sue Forsyth, Director of Advancement at Nashua Catholic, was instrumental transitioning Nashua Catholic from their Fashion Show fundraiser to the successful auction format two years ago.  We thank them and wish them well in their new endeavors!

In addition, Mrs. Claudette Anger will be teaching World Languages this fall at the upper campus. Mrs. Anger will be teaching both 7th & 8th grade French and Spanish classes! We are blessed to have her multi-lingual talent at the upper campus!

Opening Day - We anticipate that the first day of school will be September 1! All students should be in full uniform on the first day of school.

Lower Campus Before and After Care - Lower campus Extended Day programs will begin on the first day of school, September 1. Before Care will open iat 6:30 AM and After Care is available until 6:00 PM. All Before and After Care programs will take place in the Church Hall, so Before Care children should enter through those doors.

Tuition Agreements -- All Tuition Agreements for returning students were mailed several weeks ago and are now due. We understand that some families may be waiting to return their agreement until after our COVID-19 plan is released, which should be within the next couple of days. Once it has been released, we require all tuition agreements be returned to the school by July 29. We are unable to make classroom assignments and other arrangements until all tuition agreements have been returned, so we appreciate your help in this!

Please note:

  • Tuition Agreements for both campuses should be returned to the lower campus at 20 Cushing Ave, Nashua, NH 03064.
  • Tuition Agreements should include a $250 tuition deposit (make checks out to St. Christopher School). The tuition deposit is applied towards the student’s tuition. If a family is paying for tuition in one payment, the $250 deposit is included in the full tuition payment
  • If you are choosing to use the monthly payment option, please also include the $65 FACTS fee.

Uniforms -- Red Brick is now scheduling appointments for families who would like to try on and purchase new uniform pieces in person! You can schedule an appointment by clicking HERE. Uniforms can also be purchased online by clicking HERE. Returning Academy parents should have received their card for their $100 credit in the mail. If not, please contact Red Brick.

Lower Campus Supply List -- Please click HERE to see the supply list for the lower campus. This list also includes any summer reading.

Upper Campus Literature Summer Journal Assignment -- All students at the upper campus must complete the English Literature Summer Journal Assignment that can be found HERE. This must be returned to school during the first week of school.

Upper Campus Math Summer Work -- Upper campus students need to complete summer work based on their Math class assignments for the fall. Students in the Introduction to Pre-Algebra class should click HERE for their work, students in the Pre-Algebra class should click HERE, and those in Algebra should click HERE.
