6 feet apart we've all been hearing that a lot lately and you might be wondering how far is it and why is it so important we have all been getting comfortable being together again which means easy to forget to keep your distance I know that lately we've been hearing about six feet apart a lot there are even signs in the floor the reason for all this is to keep everyone healthy and safe 60 is far enough that germs can't reach from one person to another that's why the school has stickers on the floor there's a help you remember to keep others safe by keeping your distance but how far is 62 Park it's 6 tiles in the hallway it's as long as a bike it's as wide as a car it's as wide as a couch and it's as long as you're back I hope that these examples help you to remember how far you have to stay apart from the people around you helps not just you but your friends to stay safe too easy to keep your distance when you're sitting at your desk but you need to remember to do it when you're lining up and in the stairs as well when your stairs you need to have at least two empty steps between next person when you're in the bathroom or recessed make sure to give people their space this goes for adults and teachers to this definitely means don't touch anyone or anyone else's thing remember you were keeping everyone else social distancing not just you it doesn't matter if you're inside or outside in front of or behind a person germs can still spread which is why keeping your distance is so important
